The renovation will also bring in a 100% fresh air ventilation system, which, during the COVID-19 pandemic, is a definite positive.

Redwood Hotel and Casino

The Redwood Hotel and Casino is located in Klamath and is on the same property as a Holiday Inn Express. The gaming room is non-smoking but does appear to be quite limited. There is very little information about what is offered, but the “Gaming” page does feature a picture that shows 30 or more slot machines.

Unfortunately, there are no tables pictured. There is dining on-site, and the restaurant is The Abalone Bar and Grill. The restaurant, when open, does have a full bar and has a fairly basic menu, featuring five appetizers, three burgers/sandwiches, six house specialties, and your typical non-alcoholic beverages.

Lucky Bear Casino

Owned and operated by the Hoopa Valley Tribe and located in Hoopa, Lucky Bear Casino is “dedicated to protecting and promoting the interests of the Hoopa Valley Indians, and cooperating and collaborating with Federal, State, and Local Governments.”

This casino offers slots, card games, and bingo. In addition, there is a dining menu from the Grizzly Grill, which features typical American cuisine, such as burgers, hot dogs, and pizza. Sadly, information is pretty sparse between their main website and social media accounts.

Pit River Casino

The website for Pit River Casino is very dated and limited in information. However, health and safety protocols for the facility have recently reopened, including plans for patrons with temperatures over 100.4 degrees.

The only casino game advertised on the site are slots, but there is a dining area. The restaurant, River Rock Bar and Grill, features breakfast items, starting at 9 am, and has your typical menu items, but with a few different burger options at this Burney location.

Hidden Oaks Casino

Located in Covelo, Hidden Oaks Casino also has a hidden website, as it is not in working order. Thanks to 500nations, though, we were able to find some information.

There are 100 slots, and it is considered a Class-II gaming facility that is open from noon to midnight. There is a restaurant, Hidden Oaks Cafe, but menu information is unavailable.

Rolling Hills Casino and Resort

Rolling Hills Casino and Resort is located in Corning with a polished website with a hotel booking platform. There are a few different lodging options, including The Lodge at Rolling Hills, The Inn at Rolling Hills, and an RV Park.

In addition, there are multiple restaurants for patrons to choose from, headlined by Rock & Brews, which features over 35 international brews and live rock music. The casino itself, however, offers Blackjack and 840 slot machines. Furthermore, there is a rewards program and in-person casino promotions to claim.

Coyote Valley Casino

Found in Redwood Valley, Coyote Valley Casino features a luxurious playing floor with over 400 slots to choose from and Blackjack, 3 Card Poker, Fortune Pai Gow, and Hold’em. The table games are available Thursday-Sunday from 5 pm to 2 am.

There is also a Shodakai Showroom with many events, shows, and live entertainment. The 101 Taps facility features many different brews, Angelina’s Grill, which features a breakfast menu, and Sage House Restaurant, which serves American and Italian dishes but is temporarily closed. There is a hotel on-site, but the Wyndham Hotel is still under construction and is slated to be finished soon.

Colusa Casino Resort

The Colusa Casino Resort is located in, you guessed it, Colusa. This facility has over 1,200 games, including Blackjack, slots, bingo, and more. There is a rewards program on-site that you can enroll in and earn points with, too. The restaurants on site are a bit more upscale than other casinos found in the state, as 37Seventy features “premier” steak, chops, and fish.

However, if you want something less exclusive, here is Table 45, which has some Mexican cuisine and specialty pizzas. Lastly, Jack’s Place is your best bet for your favorite appetizers, offering wings, milkshakes, burgers, and all your favorite comfort food. There are two other eateries on-site, bringing the total to five. The other two are The Snack Bar and Peet’s Coffee.

Gold Country Casino Resort

With a hotel, multiple dining locations, and entertainment on-site, this Oroville casino, Gold Country Casino Resort, is quite appealing, especially from the outside with its almost stadium-like look. There are three dining facilities on-site, including Acorn Cafe, which has breakfast and lunch, Agave Cantina & Grill, which comes with Mexican food, and Coffee Tyme, which offers hot and cold coffee/espresso beverages.

Additionally, there is a bar and a lounge. There is also a place on-site to hold events, such as MMA fights, stand-up comedy, and live music. In terms of gaming, Gold Country offers over 600 slots, multiple Blackjack Tables, Tre Card Stud, Pai Gow, Freebet Blackjack, and Texas Hold’Em.

Casino Marysville

Casino Marysville is temporarily closed. However, there is no website available. From Google images, we can see it is a smaller facility located in what looks similar to a strip mall and advertises Texas Hold’Em.

Hard Rock Casino Sacramento

You can expect a grand time at this Sacramento branch with the Hard Rock branding. While it is a chain of casinos, Hard Rock, offers live entertainment, lodging, and of course, its legendary Hard Rock Cafe. In addition to the Cafe, though, there is the Council Oak Steaks and Seafood restaurant, which is relatively upscale and features an extensive wine list. YOUYU is another restaurant on site with Asian street food, and lastly, there is a coffee place to visit at Constant Grind. In terms of gaming, there are myriad options.

There are 1,600 slots, 55 tables for Blackjack, Poker, Roulette, and more, a High Limit room, and an Asian High Limit room, which features the most popular Asian games. Hard Rock Casino Sacramento also offers an internet social casino to take the experience of mobile gaming in California. The Garcia River Casino

Located in Point Arena, Garcia River Casino reopened recently on August 1st. However, there are still limited operations that allow for social distancing measures. There is a restaurant, The River Grill, lodging at Wharf Master’s, and of course, an array of gaming options.

The gaming options include slots primarily but also offer Keno. Wharf Master’s looks like a unique lodging experience as it overlooks the ocean. There are rooms with private balconies. The rooms and buildings are built to resemble that of the mid-nineteenth century, as the Wharf Master’s House was built in 1865.

River Rock Casino

River Rock Casino has a few locations, but in California, you can find it in Geyserville in Sonoma County. There is live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights, such as live DJ sets. There will be other types of events, but there are some COVID restrictions in place at the moment. Dining-wise there is the Quail Run restaurant, Center Stage Bar & Grill for Fortune Cafe.

There are different specials always ongoing such as every Friday all beers on tap are $3 from 5 pm-7 pm. There are multiple casino games on site, including slots, a high limit room, video poker, and numerous table games such as Ultimate Texas Hold’Em, Spanish 21, Blackjack, Mini-Baccarat, River Rock Roulette, Progressive Pai Gow Poker, and Three Card Poker With 6 Card Bonus.

Cache Creek Casino Resort

First opening in 1985 as a Bingo Hall, Cache Creek Casino Resort is located in Brooks. It has a prominent Indian theme with over 200 lodging rooms. In total, the gaming space makes up over 74,000 square feet. Notable attractions on-site include Club 88, which has 600 seats and is a “multi-purpose” event center.

Some headliners at the property include Slash and Jay Leno. The popular restaurant on-site is C2 Steak & Seafood, but there are nine different restaurants. Gaming-wise, there are slots, poker, and many table games.

Red Hawk Casino

Greeted by a lit-up wooden arch, Red Hawk Casino has been voted “Best Casino” 8 years in a row. Still under construction, this Placerville site will have its own lodging soon and be called Red Hawk Casino Hotel. There is a place to bring children, if necessary, called Kids Quest, and the staff is trained for kids ages six weeks through 12 years.

There are six different food spots, but the top-ranked facility is Henry’s Steakhouse. There are over 2,300 slots, progressive jackpot slots, a high-limit area, and over 16 different table games, including Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and Craps. The gaming space makes up 88,00 square feet of the total 278,000 square feet.

Graton Resort and Casino

With over 3,000 slots and 100 table games, Rohnert Park’s own Graton Resort and Casino opened in 2013 and dubbed itself the “largest and most elegant” casino in Sonoma County. There is a Graton Rewards Program to gain points by playing at the expansive slots and table games sections.

There is also a High Limit gaming area and a live poker room. In addition, there are bars and lounges on-site and four restaurants: 630 Park Steakhouse, Daily Grill.

Located in the beautiful American Canyon and near Napa Valley, Napa Valley Casino is a casino and nothing more. There is no lodging on-site or restaurants. Harrah’s Northern California

Harrah’s, which falls under the Caesars brand and Caesars Rewards, has everything you’d look for in a casino. Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort

Located near the Carson Pass Highway, Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort is located in Jackson. There are 1,700 slots, Keno, and video poker games, and 32 table game options. The table games include Blackjack, Baccarat, Four-Card Poker, Three-Card Poker, Hold’Em, and other popular poker titles.

Found in a suburb of Los Angeles, Commerce Casino, located in Commerce, is a cardroom with over 240 tables. Commerce Casino is considered the largest cardroom in the world. This establishment opened in 1983. There are 200 rooms across the 91,694 square foot space, and it comes in an Assyrian/Babylonian theme.

While there are no slots, there are many types of poker and Blackjack, Baccarat, and more. A few dining facilities on-site include Wood Dragon Restaurant, The Arena Sports Bar & Grill, The Commerce Cafe, and Tableside Dining. Lastly, Commerce Casino is home to several tournaments, including the Los Angeles Poker Classic, California State Poker Championship, Commerce Hold’Em Series, and The L.A. Poker Open.

The Gardens Casino

Open 24/7 and located in Hawaiian Gardens, The Gardens Casino does not have lodging on site or slots. However, there is every kind of card game available. On-site, a restaurant, Triple 7, features numerous foods from all types of cultures, including American, Vietnamese, Mexican, and Italians. The restaurant also features handcrafted cocktails, locally sourced wine, and California craft beers on tap.

Morongo Casino

Morongo Casino takes up 44 acres of land in Cabazon. This facility has New Years’ events, and Fabio Vivani will soon headline a new dining facility. There is a resort on-site that is 27 stories high and features 272 guest rooms, 32 suites, and six ultra-luxurious casitas, which feature private pools, separate living areas, oversized soaking tubs, and shaded verandas with plush chaise lounges. Morongo also has a spa and numerous dining facilities in addition to the soon-to-be-opened “The Marketplace.”

These other facilities are Cielo, Wahlburgers, Good Times Cafe, Mozen, Pink Coffee, Fiesta Taco at Morongo, Sunset Bar & Grill, and a Food Court. To illustrate its size, Morongo also has a spot for entertainment such as concerts.

After all this, yes, there is still a casino that comprises an astonishing 195,000 square feet. There are nearly 4,000 slots, 80 table games, a 13-table poker room, and a rewards program to boot.

Soboba Casino

Soboba Casino not only has lodging, dining, and games on-site, but there is also a golf course. The course, Soboba Springs, has tee times available from 6:30 am - 2 pm. There are 2,000 slots, 35 table games, including Blackjack and Poker, and a Rewards Program to go alongside all of it for the casino itself.

The hotel has a few different types of rooms, including the Presidential Suites, Executive Suits, Studio Suites, Junior Suites, and Deluxe King/Queen Rooms. There are also multiple dining locations, including a steakhouse, noodle bar, a cafe, a specialty coffee house, and more.

Crystal Casino

Open from 10 am to 4 am, Crystal Casino, located in Compton, does not have lodging on-site or dining. There are also no slots on-site, but there are various table games. The list includes Baccarat, Blackjack, Fortune Pai Gow, Texas Hold’Em, and Pure Spanish 21.5. Most games also come with a daily jackpot, and regular promotions are offered.

Hollywood Park Casino

Located in Inglewood, Hollywood Park Casino used to be part of the Racetrack but was moved to a new building in 2016 before the Racetrack was demolished. The original casino first opened in 1994 with a poker card room.

Over the years, there have been many owners, one of which being Churchill Downs, who also owns the online casino and sportsbook TwinSpires. The current building features 125 tables for poker and other “California” games. Here you will also find celebrity poker tournaments and a sports bar. However, only table games are allowed here, so there are no slots available.

Pechanga Resort Casino

Pechanga Resort Casino has one of the largest casino floors in the entire state at approximately 188,000 square feet. The Temecula-based casino also has over 5,000 slot machines and nearly 70 table games. There are 15 Pai Gow tables, 22 tables for Texas Hold’Em, Three Card Poker, Let It Ride, and Crazy 4 Poker, and 32 tables for Blazing 7’s Blackjack Progressive. There is also a high-limits area, a poker room, and bingo.

However, the poker room and bingo room are temporarily closed. There is a resort on-site with valet parking and 24/7 room service among their six different room options. There are also many restaurants at Pechanga Resort Casino, including a steakhouse, sushi and oyster bar, and more. Last but not least, there is a venue for entertainment, including a Comedy Club.

Pala Casino

Pala Casino comes with a resort deemed a AAA Four-Diamond hotel with 507 deluxe rooms and 82 luxury suites. In addition to the resort, there is an RV Park available. Within the resort, there is a spa, which also has a salon and a fitness center on-site. There are many restaurants on-site, though some are temporarily closed, such as The Oak Room.

However, other restaurants are open such as Noodles, Luis Rey’s, Bar Meets Grill, Pala Cafe, Poolside Cafe and Bar, and Coffee Amore. In addition, Pala Casino does have indoor concerts regularly. For the casino and gaming, there is a high limit room, as well as nearly 2,000 slots and 73 table games such as Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps, and Roulette.

Harrah’s Resort Southern California

We already talked about a Harrah’s casino, but there is another here in SoCal. There are two different lodging options, including Dive Inn and Resorts Towers. Dive Inn has five different types of rooms, whereas Resorts Towers has seven different types. The resort also has a place to swim, a wellness center, a spa, and a shuttle bus.

Harrah’s uses Caesars Rewards, in which you earn points by playing any of their 1,500 slots and 50 table games, including Poker, Baccarat, Blackjack, and more. Many restaurants are available on-site, but a Hell’s Kitchen will soon be open at the resort. For additional entertainment, Harrah’s has a golf course, Topgolf, and many other events such as rock shows and stand-up comedy.

Barona Resort and Casino

Barona Resort and Casino is the self-acclaimed only non-smoking casino in San Diego. Barona, more precisely, is located in Lakeside. Barona has been voted the best casino 11 years in a row by the Union-Tribune Readers Poll.

There is a resort on-site and multiple restaurants that have every kind of food you can imagine, from Italian food to a noodle shop to a steakhouse to a burger joint. The casino features over 2,200 slots and 75 table games.

Cahuilla Casino

Located in Anza, Cahuilla Casino is a bit smaller with 349 slots, but it also has some table games such as Blackjack and Texas Hold’Em. The hotel on-site comes with “countryside” hospitality and has venues for dirt biking, horseback riding, hot air balloon rides, and more nearby. Cahuilla Casino also has a steakhouse grill and a full bar that features many different drinks and cocktails, including 12 taps.

Augustine Casino

Located in the heart of Coachella, Augustine Casino has dining options in addition to the casino. The casino comes with 740 slot machines and video poker options. The dining is highly regarded and includes Cafe 54, which comes with a bar and breakfast menu, Menykish, a bar and grill, a Starbucks, and more.

Ocean’s Eleven Casino

Open 24 hours a day in Oceanside, Ocean’s Eleven does not have lodging in the facility, but there is a Travelodge nearby. The dining features a sports bar with Happy Hour. There are no slots available as Ocean’s Eleven Casino features card games only. However, there are tournaments held daily on-site.

Golden Acorn Casino

Located in Campo, Golden Acorn Casino may not have lodging, but a Travel Center has a gas station. A few eating options include a deli, a full bar, and a grill that has appetizers, salads, soups, and more. There are no table games on-site, but there are over 350 slot machines.

Viejas Casino

Viejas Casino has two different lodging options, including the self-titled Viejas Resort and also Willows Hotel & Spa at Viejas. Both are luxury resorts. Viejas comes with a full-service spa, six bars, six restaurants, and a shopping outlet.

There are more than 2,500 slots, numerous table games, including Craps, Roulette, Pai Gow, Baccarat, and Blackjack. There is also an off-track betting venue to wager on horse races. There are many other forms of entertainment besides the casino, though, including a skating rink, bowling, and a game zone.

Red Earth Casino

Located in Thermal near Highway 86, Red Earth Casino features over 400 slots. There are no table games, lodging, or dining on-site, but there is a travel center that also features a gas station. While Red Earth may not have the same offerings as other casinos, Red Earth is commonly referred to as one of the friendliest casinos in the state, which could be an excellent environment for new players.

Valley View Casino & Hotel

The casino at Valley View has slots and table games, but there is also a non-smoking wing. This wing has over 500 slots and also a video poker bar. In addition, there is a rewards program offered and many promotions delivered almost daily.

There are many different places to eat within the facility, including a cafe, a few bars, a place for snacks, a place for desserts, and a buffet. Tortoise Rock Casino

Although there is no hotel, there is still a venue for a nightlife scene at Tortoise Rock Casino. There are a couple of dining options, Oasis Grille and Shelly’s Lounge.

In addition, there is an area for events and a rewards program for the players to enjoy. There are multiple table games available, and also many slots too. Throughout the facility, you will find numerous flat-screen televisions broadcasting all types of programming, primarily sports.
