WSOP Micro Stakes

The WSOP is one of the biggest brands in poker, both online and offline. The brand features online services for poker fans in Pennsylvania, Michigan, New Jersey, and Nevada. Each state has a poker platform with all types of bet levels, including micro stakes.

In this guide, we will explore the micro stakes level. We cover cash games and tournaments so you can easily see how to play your favorite games with a lower limit. Use the information to your advantage, staying on budget and enjoying longer poker sessions.

Micro Stakes Cash Games & Tournaments at WSOP Poker

If you enjoy cash games and tournaments, WSOP Online Poker is a great option for your gaming needs. The site is home to many budget services, with many fitting into the micro stakes category. We cover cash games, MTTs, and SNGs below to give you an idea of what to expect.

Cash Games

Cash games are plentiful at WSOP Poker. The platform includes sections for Texas Hold’Em, Omaha, and Stud. You can select any game type and see the available cash games in the lobby. Hold’Em offers the most micro tables, with Omaha and Stud having a limited selection.

Micro stakes cash games have a buy-in of $0.01/$0.02 or $0.05/$0.10. There are options for fixed, no limit, and pot limit based on the game you select.

MTTs

Multi-table tournaments are a great way to get in on the real money poker action against other players with multiple tables in play. MTTs at WSOP feature many different tables, each with nine to ten players who want to make it to the final table. Many variants are on offer here, but Texas Hold’Em reigns supreme. There are also options for Omaha fans.

You can scroll through the tournament section and find freeroll options, which cost you nothing to enter. There are also turbos, freezeouts, shorthanded events, and much more. Buy-ins begin at $0.10 and can include $0.25, $0.50, $1, $2, and $3. These are the most affordable events offered at the site.

WSOP is home to a ton of poker tournament action. You can compete in events that offer regular guaranteed prizes, such as the $100k Sundays. There are also branded events, including the Online World Series of Poker bracelet events, the Spring Championship of Online Poker, and the Winter Online Championships.

SNGs

SNGs at WSOP are a great way to play a quick tournament with fellow players. Unfortunately for micro stakes gamers, the options are limited. The site includes a small section of SNG options, with Hold’Em being the only game type on offer.

There are heads-up and 9-handed events available, with turbo gaming options. It is disappointing to see only a handful of micro-events, and most of these tournaments have $1 buy-ins. There may be one or two $0.25 buy-in events at any given time.

Micro Stakes Games at WSOP Poker

Players will find a few options for micro stakes games at WSOP Poker in the Hold’Em and Omaha section. The options are limited, but you should be able to easily find a seat at a cash game to play low stakes online poker.

Micro Limit Texas Hold’Em

Once you select the Hold’Em section in the WSOP Poker lobby, click the Micro section at the bottom to narrow your choices. This shows you the lowest betting limits on the site. You have access to fixed-limit games.

Stake levels range from $0.05/$0.10 to $0.01/$0.02. The only table options are nine players, and the average pot size is around $1.50 or so. You should easily find a table, and the average pot size should grow a bit higher during peak times.

No Limit Texas Hold’Em

The majority of the micro stakes tables at WSOP Poker are no-limit options. The betting limits start at $0.01/$0.02 and only go up to $0.05/$0.10. Select the No Limit section of the site once you are in the lobby to narrow down the table selection. Tables are limited to nine players only, with no other options.

Omaha

You will only find around two tables in the Omaha Hi/Lo section for micro stakes games. The betting limits are $0.05/$0.10, and the tables are only eight players. This is a bit disappointing, especially if you enjoy micro-betting and Omaha gaming.

Seven Card Stud

WSOP Poker offers micro stakes at Stud Hi/Lo and traditional Stud tables. You can play with limits of $0.02/$0.04 and $0.05/$0.10. The tables are set at eight players each. Both sections only offer two tables, and you may have difficulty finding a seat during peak times.

Other WSOP Micro Stakes Games

There are no other options for micro stakes games at WSOP Poker.

Best Micro Stakes Option at WSOP Poker

When it comes to micro stakes, cash games seem to be your best bet, especially the Hold’Em titles. I enjoyed playing at WSOP Poker and found the Hold’Em tables to offer the most competition. When it comes to tournament events, you have options, but SNGs are limited. I would stick to MTTs for larger player pools and more micro-betting potential.

You can join the platform via desktop or the WSOP mobile app to earn a generous welcome bonus and start off with extra cash in your bankroll. Couple this with the micro stakes options available, and you’ll be able to play with house money for an extended period of time.
