PartyPoker Welcome Bonus Offers

After making a qualifying deposit of $10 or more, PartyPoker will match 100% of your deposit amount, giving you up to $600 in bonus dollars. Bonus Dollars are released as cash in increments of 10% of the player’s first deposit. This welcome bonus will be released in 10 equal parts.

For every 4 points you collect playing poker or 8 points playing in the casino, you will earn $1 towards your bonus. The released Bonus Dollars will be credited to your player account as cash and will be available for withdrawal.

To accompany this deposit bonus, new players will also receive a free $25 bonus in Online Cash. Instead of a no deposit bonus on PartyPoker, this free $25 in Online Cash is credited to your player account following your initial deposit.

This $25 is given as a combination of $5 tournament dollars to be used on big money tournaments and Sit & Go tournaments, $10 to be used on poker cash games and the site’s fast-forward feature, and $10 to be used on casino slots and jackpot slots.

The $10 slots bonus is subject to a minimum play-through requirement of 1x the bonus amount. This means you must wager at least $10 before you can withdraw the bonus amount as cash. The $10 poker bonus requires that a single, raked hand be played in order to withdraw the bonus amount.

This can be accomplished by simply playing one hand played in PartyPoker’s real money games.

PartyPoker Promotions

Aside from its generous welcome bonus package, PartyPoker regularly gives additional value to its users throughout the year. These additional benefits can come in the form of special promotions, reload bonuses, tournament tickets, and more.

Weekly Deposit Bonus

If you have already taken advantage of PartyPoker’s generous first deposit bonus, don’t fret. PartyPoker offers a regular, weekly reload bonus of up to $100.

To capitalize on this bonus offer, you only need to deposit $50 or more. From there, the bonus activates, and you will receive your funds directly into your poker account.

This bonus is steadily released in increments of 20% of the total value. Players will have 15 days to clear the full amount of the bonus. For every 4 iRewards points you accumulate, $1 of your bonus balance will be released.

Spin the Wheel

Occasionally, PartyPoker offers players a chance to win cash bonuses, as well as poker tournament tickets that can be worth as much as $215. It offers these through its daily “Spin the Wheel" promotion.

All you need to do to participate in the event is log into your account. Once you do, you will be presented with an opportunity to Spin the Wheel and win one of the following prizes:

  • 5 Hot Cash Poker Bonus
  • 10 Hot Cash Poker Bonus
  • 5 Online Series Satellite Tournament Ticket
  • 20 Mini Tournament Entry
  • 45 Online Series Satellite Tournament Ticket
  • 109 Online Series Tournament Entry
  • 215 Online Series Tournament Entry

While the Spin the Wheel promotion is only available periodically, similar promos occur at PartyPoker somewhat frequently, so you should make sure to check out the promotions tab in your client regularly to find out what surprises are waiting for you.

PartyPoker Rakeback Bonus

PartyPoker currently does not offer a rakeback promotion, unfortunately. The site has quality deals, including a welcome bonus of up to $600. The site includes $25 on the house, so you can test the poker room and then generate a larger bankroll via the deposit deal.

Use the $25 to play cash games with Texas Hold’em and Omaha options, or enjoy tournament action. The site includes a nice collection of SNGs and MTTs. Compete in regular guaranteed tournament events and more.

The PartyPoker welcome bonus is unique as it is a release-restricted option. You will need to play poker to release the funds. Play games to earn points and then convert the points to bonus cash.

PartyPoker Cash Game Variants

Poker has a variety of ways in which it can be played. PartyPoker offers the most popular ones that are played nowadays. Below, we’ll take a closer look at how some of them are played.

Texas Hold’Em

Texas Hold’Em is a popular variety of poker that is played widely all across the world. There are three types of Texas Hold’Em that players will want to become familiar with: no limit, fixed limit, and pot limit.

  • No Limit: In this variety, players are allowed to bet or raise any amount over the minimum raise up to all of the chips the player has at their table - which is called an all-in bet. The minimum bet has to be equal to the size of the previous bet or raise. Whenever a person wishes to re-raise, they must raise at least the same amount as the previous raise.
  • Fixed: In the fixed variety, there is a cap - which means that there can be only one bet and three raises within a single betting round. After that, the players can only call or fold.
  • Pot Limit: The Pot-limit variety restricts the betting size to the size of the pot. Therefore, you cannot bet over the value of the pot, such as in cases of all-in bets.

Omaha

Omaha is another popular variety of poker that has its own set of rules. The two varieties we will cover are high and hi-lo Omaha.

  • High: This simple version of Omaha has only the high part of the pot up for grabs for the best high hand. Therefore, only the player with the best high hand takes the pot.
  • Hi-Lo: In this variety of Omaha Hold’Em, the contestants play for both the high and low halves of the pot. Therefore, the high hand wins one part of the pot, and the low hand wins another.

Seven-Card Stud

Another variety of poker is seven-card stud. In stud, each player’s first two cards are dealt face down as hole cards. The next four cards are dealt face up so all other players can see. Finally, the 7th card is dealt face down.

Seven-card stud has antes instead of blinds, which sets it apart from Hold’Em and Omaha. However, like Omaha, seven-card stud also has a high and a hi-lo variety.

  • High: Players compete for the entire pot, with the best high hand taking the whole pot.
  • Hi-Lo: Players compete for high and low parts of the pot. That means that the best high hand gets half of the pot, and the best low hand gets half of the pot as well.

PartyPoker Guaranteed Tournaments

A guaranteed prize pool tournament in poker is when a poker room provides a minimum amount of money in the prize pool. For example, a tournament can have a $100k guarantee which means that the payout will be $100k no matter the turnout of the event.

Sometimes, when there are fewer participants within a game than expected, it could lead to an overlay. This means that the casino puts its own money into the prize pool to meet the guarantee. This acts as a safeguard of sorts for the players who do show up, so the size of the prize pool will not be diminished by the number of players who don’t enter.

PartyPoker offers various options for guaranteed tournaments. Some of the smaller tournaments have buy-ins of $2, $5, and $10 and offer guaranteed prize pools that can go up to $750.

Tournaments with larger buy-ins have even greater guaranteed prize pools. Some of the PartyPoker guaranteed tournaments that you won’t want to miss are listed below:

  • Daily $750 Gtd. Turbo, 2x re-entry, 1x add-on – $10 buy-in
  • Daily $750 Gtd. Bounty – $20 buy-in
  • Daily $10,000 Gtd. – $109 buy-in
  • Weekly Mega Thursday $7500 Gtd. – $320 buy-in
  • Weekly Mega Tuesday 6-Max $$12,000 Gtd. – $535 buy-in
  • Weekly Sunday $35,000 Gtd. – $215 buy-in

PartyPoker Sit-And-Go Tournaments

Sit-and-Go tournaments are also known as SNGs or STTs (single-table tournaments). They are a popular variety of single-table tournaments. You do not have to be an experienced player to partake in one. In fact, many players find them less stressful and grueling than their much larger multi-table tournament counterparts.

SNGs are also not nearly as big of a time commitment once they’re underway. There is no scheduled time — once all the seats are filled, the game begins. This single-table tournament typically takes less than an hour to finish. Players can use STTs as preparation for scheduled tournaments or multi-table tournaments.

The buy-in can be for as little as $1.50, and games can often reach a pot of around $1000. There are multiple varieties to be played as an STT - heads-up, six-handed, nine-handed, and ten-handed, along with turbo and hyper-turbo structures available.

PartyPoker has two additional variations on this classic format:

  • Double or Nothing: where half of the field wins double their buy-in while the other half leaves empty-handed.
  • The SPINS variety: a 3-handed turbo Sit-and-Go tournament where a multiplier could boost the prize pool even further.

PartyPoker Satellites To Las Vegas Or Atlantic City

PartyPoker has offered major satellites for live tournament events for a long time. These tournaments offer a route into target tournaments for a fraction of the cost. The Ultimate Super Satellite event is one example, with winners scoring a $25,000 tournament package in Las Vegas.

The World Series of Poker regularly offers online qualifiers for their tournament in Las Vegas. The winners will participate in land-based tournaments such as $10,000 Wynn Millions ($10 million guarantee), $5,000 WPT Venetian ($3 million guarantee), and $10,000 WSOP Main Event.

PartyPoker offers similar opportunities to its players via small buy-in satellites that go for as low as $5. This lets players of all different experience levels and bankrolls try their hand at entering a big tournament for minimal entry.

The World Poker Tour World Championship, held in Atlantic City, New Jersey, is another opportunity for a satellite tournament that PartyPoker may offer occasional satellite tournaments into. Players should regularly check for satellite tournaments such as these, as they can fill up quickly!

Who Can Play Poker On PartyPoker?

To play on PartyPoker, you must be at least 21 years of age. You must also be located in the state of New Jersey. You don’t need to have a residence in the state, but you do need to be physically present in New Jersey in order to play on PartyPoker.

Presently, PartyPoker is located only in New Jersey. The player pool on PartyPoker is essentially “ring-fenced" in the Garden State. This means players will only play against other players who are also physically located in New Jersey.

PartyPoker does presently have player networks in both Pennsylvania and Michigan. While the PartyPoker platform itself is not present in these states, other online poker operators are able to use the PartyPoker network to share their player pools with each other. This creates a better quality of game selection and available tournaments for the sites’ players.

PartyPoker Online Poker Championships

PartyPoker offers a variety of tournaments, whether daily or scheduled. Multi-table tournaments with scheduled start times run around the clock.

Some of the brand’s major tournament series include the Powerfest, Monster Series, and KO Series, during which over 1000 entrants may join.

PartyPoker also hosts the WPT World Online Championships once a year, which is a live-streamed series that delivers quality content to all poker aficionados.

The popularity of online poker championships stems from the wide range of players they attract as well as the reach that some events have in terms of viewers. There is also a potential for big returns on small investments. Some of the best poker stories revolve around players turning paltry buy-ins into life-changing sums of cash.

The convenience of accessing a championship, whether as a player or viewer, also helps increase the popularity of these events.

My PartyPoker Experience

The signup experience is an easy three-step process where you provide some information for the site to verify your identity. It is functional and simple to understand, and it won’t impede you from getting right into the action.

Downloading the platform is a straightforward task; the instructions to download and install are easily found directly on the website. You can also access the PartyPoker software on your mobile device, allowing you to play on the go, which provides added flexibility and portability.

The interface is sleek and comfortable to use. Tournaments and games are simple to keep track of, as well as the cashier section, which allows for easy handling of your funds. There is also a My Game option, which allows you to look at your poker hands, skill level, and much more to improve your poker skills.

There is a vast array of daily games from Texas Hold’Em to Omaha, as well as sit-and-go games, short deck, and more. This allows all poker enthusiasts to find their niche and play the games they like.

Satellites allow you to buy in for extremely low amounts into various tournaments, and larger tournaments are frequently available, should you want to bypass playing in satellites.

Playing games will earn you points throughout the week, which can give you various rewards and cashback. There are four tiers to progress through - bronze, silver, gold, and palladium.

Moreover, there are guaranteed tournaments held regularly, with overlays being met by PartyPoker. Online and live championships are also found on the platform, often with low buy-ins thanks to satellites. This allows for a greater amount of entrants, therefore more participation and a greater chance of winning.

Daily games make sure that the player has a range of options available to them. Various promotions are also offered to make your experience more worthwhile and provide additional benefits as you play.

The My Game feature also analyzes your hand, your skill rating, and other factors for you to get better as a player by checking the statistics of your games.

The micro stakes games at PartyPoker are perfect for players on a budget. Additionally, the ease of deposits and withdrawals with a verified account certainly makes it simple to use for its players. Having 24/7 chat and email customer support also allows for clearing various issues users may face.

The diverse range of games, betting features, promotions, and tournaments makes PartyPoker a candidate for one of the best gambling sites out there. The ease of use and functionality of their platform provides the ultimate user experience, and there is always more to look out for on their website.

PartyPoker Liquidity Sharing

Shared liquidity refers to the concept of pooling players across state lines so as to increase the number of entrants in a game. Presently, the law does not allow this due to something known as the Wire Act, which prevents online poker players from competing against players in other states.

However, there are strong indicators that the laws around this are changing. If and when this happens, players across the various regulated gambling states will be able to play against each other, and the online poker operators in these states will be able to share their player pools. This will only lead to online poker becoming more accessible and even more popular.

The PartyPoker U.S. Network is poised to be a big contributor to liquidity sharing once the laws can accommodate intrastate player pools.

While PartyPoker is presently only operating in New Jersey as an online poker room, it already has a player network in Pennsylvania that is utilized by BetMGM Poker and Borgata poker. PartyPoker also has a player network in Michigan that is utilized by BetMGM Michigan.

If player pools are eventually allowed to be shared across regulated state lines, players across New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania may all be able to compete against each other in the future.
